For today's trip down memory lane, we bring you one of Bradford's most iconic department stores.
The picture above, taken in 1973, shows the once-beloved Busbys building, occupied by Debenhams.
Many of our readers may recall shopping at the popular store. Others will remember when the grand building belonged to the Busby family, with its plush carpets, mirrors, and famous Santa's grotto.
Founded in 1908, Busbys had become one of Yorkshire's best-known department stores, dominating Manningham Lane in Bradford from the 1930s until its takeover by Debenhams in 1958.
In 1978, the store sadly closed just one year before a disastrous fire destroyed the empty premises.
