A FURTHER 13 Covid-19-related hospital death have been reported over the last four days in Bradford hospitals.
According to the latest NHS figures, nine further deaths were reported by Bradford Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust between January 29 and 31. One further death was recorded on each of the following dates; January 28, 27, 7, 1; December 31, 24, 17 and 8 and October 30.
Meanwhile, Airedale NHS Foundation Trust reported four further deaths over the same period. One further death was recorded on each of the following dates; January 28, 10, 5 and 3.
The total number of reported hospital deaths in the Bradford district now stands at 1,137 - 818 at Bradford Teaching Hospitals; 317 at Airedale and two at Bradford District Care NHS Foundation Trust.
Nationally, a further 239 patients who tested positive for Covid-19 have died over the same four-day period. Their families have been informed.
The figures are updated at 2pm each day and include confirmed death cases reported at 4pm the previous day.
NHS England says: "Confirmation of Covid-19 diagnosis, death notification, death certificates and reporting in central figures can take up to several days and the hospitals providing the data are under significant operational pressure."
