AN inquest into the death of a 24-year-old man who died in a crash will be opened tomorrow.
Curtis Dominik, from Bradford, was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash, which happened shortly after 5am on Saturday, January 22.
He was in a silver Hyundai Terracan, which was travelling along Whitehall Road towards Chain Bar roundabout, when it left the road and landed in a field.
Police investigating the crash have arrested five people in connection with the incident, including a male who was believed to have left the scene before police arrived.
Scores of floral tributes were left at the scene after the sad news broke, while many people posted on social media.
One person said: “RIP to my old school pal Curtis Dominik, so sad to hear the news at such a young age.
“Will always remember the funny old times with you.”
Another said: “Still can’t believe it, was only last night I seen you, gunna miss you mate.”
Anyone who who saw the incident, or the circumstances leading up to it, is asked to contact police on 101, quoting log 300 of January 22.
Officers would also like to hear from anyone who may have dash cam footage.
