A 21-YEAR-OLD from Bradford has been charged with drug-dealing near a cemetery in a historic market town.
Geremy India, 21, of Henry Street in Keighley, is to appear in court tomorrow, to face three serious drug-related offences.
The charges are: possession with intent to supply a controlled drug of class a - heroin, possession with intent to supply a controlled drug of class a - crack cocaine and possession with intent to supply a controlled drug of class a - cocaine.
It is alleged India was dealing in two separate locations on December 18, in 2018.
One of the instances was in Willow Way, in the Skipton area, which is right next to Skipton Crematorium and Waltonwrays Cemetery.
India is alleged to have been caught with 21 wraps of diamorphine and 18 wraps of "crack" cocaine at this location.
Cancer Research UK's website explains that diamorphine is a painkiller and is a type of opioid.
It states: "You can only get diamorphine on prescription from your doctor."
The second location India is alleged to have been caught with drugs, which he was intending to supply, was at a flat off Crag Road in the Shipley area.
It is alleged he had 15 wraps of cocaine in his possession at the flat.
The case will be first heard at Skipton Magistrates' Court tomorrow (Friday, January 28).
