RUNNERS will once again pound the streets of Bradford at the Epilepsy Action Bradford 10k.

The race will return on Sunday, September 18 after three years following disruption to mass events during the pandemic.

The Bradford 10k is a key date in Yorkshire’s athletics calendar, raising vital funds for the 600,000 people living with epilepsy in the UK.

Epilepsy Action has opened 3,000 places, with a discounted rate of £22 for affiliated running clubs and £24 for the general public.

Fundraising Events Manager, Katie Reah, said “The Epilepsy Action Bradford 10k is a fantastic race, and we are so excited to bring it back after a three-year wait. It’s a friendly and exciting mass event that challenges runners of all kinds, from complete beginners to those chasing a personal best.

"Now is the perfect time for people to sign up, boost their fitness and raise funds to support people living with epilepsy.”

The Epilepsy Action Bradford 10k began in 2008. Since then, runners have raised more than £570,000 for the charity, with almost 15,000 runners crossing the finish line.

To sign up, visit epilepsy.org.uk/bradford or call 0113 210 8881. The closing date for entries is September 14, subject to availability.
