LATEST NEWS: Two female pedestrians seriously injured in crash on major city centre road
The emergency services have been dealing with an incident on a main road on the edge of Bradford city centre tonight.
Police and ambulance crews have been called to the bottom of Leeds Road, near its junction with Shipley Airedale Road.
There are unconfirmed reports that a pedestrian or pedestrians were injured in the incident.
One onlooker said: "There were so many emergency services on the scene - two or three ambulances and at least five police cars. It didn't look good."
The closure, lasting several hours, has caused traffic disruption in the surrounding area.
