Plans to build up to 30 homes on a site in Wrose have been submitted to Bradford Council.
National Land Investments has submitted an outline planning application to develop a brownfield site off Westfield Lane with a mix of three and four bed homes.
The application argues that although the site would be suitable for employment use, an "extensive marketing exercise" has not attracted any potential buyers.

It says these plans will "include the delivery of much needed new homes on a brownfield site in a sustainable location close to services and transport links.
"This includes the provision of a policy compliant level of affordable housing."
If approved, the existing entrance to the site from Westfield Lane would be widened.
A decision on the application is expected in April.
