These pictures show the spot where a tragedy unfolded as a Polaris Ranger pulling a trailer plunged into a river from a bridge that collapsed.
The photos reveal the devastation at the scene close to the border of the Yorkshire Dales, where a man died and several others were injured.
The vehicle and trailer were carrying 11 people when the horror unfolded on Moor Lane in Roeburndale, a rural part of Lancashire.
Police say they were called at around 4.25pm on Tuesday.
A wooden structure supported by scaffolding, described by a local as a temporary bridge, appears to be damaged.
Scaffold tubes appeared mangled in the wreckage this morning.
The people in the vehicle and trailer which fell into the river Roeburn were from a "shooting party" and "travelling on private land", police said today.
The Health and Safety Executive said it was 'aware' of the incident and 'making enquiries alongside the police'.
