TWO men were arrested for drink-driving, with one of them triple over the limit.
Officers from West Yorkshire Police's Shipley Neighbourhood Policing Team (NPT) made the two arrests over the weekend.
They were out on patrol in the early hours of last Friday morning, when they stopped a driver on Otley Road, in Baildon.
Police arrested the man on suspicion of drink-driving and he blew a reading of 78 on a breath test in custody.
That is just over double the prescribed limit, which is 35 micrograms of alcohol per 100 millilitres of breath.
He was charged with being drunk in charge of a motor vehicle.
Then yesterday officers from the Shipley NPT stopped someone driving who had even more alcohol in their system.
Police received a report from a member of the public about an alleged drunk driver in Bingley, heading towards Harden.
Officers responded and stopped the driver.
He failed a road-side breath test, blowing a reading of 99, so was arrested.
Officers conducted another breath test at the police station and the man gave a reading of 106 - just over triple the limit.
He was charged with drink driving.
