A fire has broken out at a derelict pub in Westgate, Bradford city centre, this evening, with two fire engines currently in attendance.
The fire broke on the ground floor of The Star pub, which used to be one of Bradford's well-known drinking venues.
Two fire engines and emergency services are at the scene.
The road is closed from around the High Point Building and the traffic lane is closed one way out of the city centre on Westgate.
A6181 Westgate Westbound closed and queuing traffic in and around the area.
A spokesperson for West Yorkshire Police said: "At 5.10pm today (Thursday) police were made aware of a fire at The Star pub in Westgate, Bradford.
"There were no reports of any injuries.
"Inquiries are ongoing at the scene in conjunction with the fire service to establish the cause of the blaze.
"Road closures remain in place and people are asked to avoid the area at this time."
