Top talent has been rewarded at an apprentice of the year awards ceremony.
Bradford Community Housing Trust organised the event to honour three trainees.
The winners were 18-year-old Richard Barr, from Keighley, a second year apprentice electrician based at the Saltaire Road depot, 19-year-old Michael Parker from Horton Bank Top, a third-year apprentice joiner at The Headway Depot in Bradford and Govinder Singh Chahal, 20, from Rooley Lane, a fourth year apprentice plumber with Contract Services.
Govinder and Michael shared BCHT's overall Apprentice of the Year Award 2007. All three got certificates and an i-Pod Nano, while Govinder and Michael got an engraved shield and £100.
Greg Robinson, Director of BCHT's Bradford Building Services, said: "It has been a tough task choosing these winners from our high calibre pool of apprentices."
BCHT apprentices are aged from 17 to 37, and 20 per cent of them are women. The winners were nominated by the trust's area maintenance and contract managers.
