FIRE have confirmed the big blaze took place in a four-storey bakery and they expect to be there for "most of the day".

Following a call at 1.33am this morning, firefighters attended the building on Sunbridge Road.

Fire say it was just that building involved and that all persons were accounted for.

A West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: "It was a four-storey bakery.

"Just that building was involved. There were buildings on three sides that we class as an exposure risk.

"All persons were accounted for. It was persons reported.

"Something at that level takes a lot of resources. There is certainly going to besome presence there for most of the day.

"At the moment, there is five pumps and an aerial."

Crews from 21 stations across West Yorkshire attended.

The attending stations are as follows: Bradford Fire Station, Fairweather Green Fire Station, Shipley Fire Station, Odsal Fire Station, Cleckheaton Fire Station, Bingley Fire Station, Rawdon Fire Station, Illingworth Fire Station, Rastrick Fire Station, Dewsbury Fire Station, Ossett Fire Station, Keighley Fire Station, Halifax Fire Station, Mirfield Fire Station, Ilkley Fire Station, Featherstone Fire Station, Leeds Fire Station, Huddersfield Fire Station, Cookridge Fire Station, Stanningley Fire Station and Killingbeck Fire Station.
