A NEIGHBOURHOOD policing team in Bradford is set to target catalytic converter thefts, anti-social use of vehicles, speeding and selfish parking.

Officers covering Bowling and Barkerend will also work with partners to reduce child criminal exploitation in the area.

According to the neighbourhood priorities section of the police website, officers will "target anti-social vehicle use, speeding and inconsiderate parking at school start and finish times in and around Barkerend Primary, Fearnville Primary and Bradford Academy."

It adds that another priority is to "target and disrupt youths involved anti-social behaviour in and around the Wapping area whilst working with partners to increase detachment work and reduce the risk of child criminal exploitation."

Police said streets to receive attention include Otley Road, Northampton street, Welham Walk, Dover Street and Mint Street.

Another goal is to raise awareness regarding catalytic converter thefts across Barkerend and Laisterdyke.

Meanwhile, concerns over drug dealing in Thursby Street, Mavis Street, Seaton Street and Browning Street will also be tackled.
