DETECTIVES are appealing for witnesses after a robbery at a convenience store.

Leeds District CID would like to speak to anyone who can help identify the men pictured or who has information about a robbery at the Richmond Hill Shopping Mart, Upper Accommodation Road in the Richmond Hill area of Leeds on December 27.

A police spokesperson said: "It took place at about 6.45pm after suspects wearing all dark clothing entered the store brandishing what appeared to be firearms, and demanded cash and cigarettes.

"They then made off with cigarettes leaving staff and customers shocked but unharmed."

DI Dan Bates of Leeds District CID, said: “We are investigating this incident at which the suspects produced what  appeared to be firearms or replica weapons, and are appealing for witnesses.
