BIN COLLECTION dates will not change over Christmas, the council has announced.
This year, due to Christmas falling on a weekend, there are no changes to any bin collection dates for Christmas and New Year in the Bradford district. All bins will be collected as usual.
However, the council would like to remind residents to recycle their Christmas waste, as it is estimated that waste over the festive period is increased by 30 percent.
Christmas cards, wrapping paper, cardboard packaging, baking foil, and beer and wine bottles and cans can all be recycled. Christmas trees can be taken to local household waste recycling centres or chopped up and put in your garden waste bin.
