THIS is where the two walk-in vaccine clinics offering Covid booster jabs are located in Bradford.

Both the walk-in clinics are in Bradford city centre, and people can just turn up and get their booster jab with no need to book.

People are being urged to get their third Covid jab - the booster - in the wake of the spread of the Omicron variant of the virus to try and slow its spread.

While it spreads easier than previous variants, with three vaccine doses needed to offer best protections, the effects of Omicron are said to be milder than the Delta variant, according to the scientists who discovered it in South Africa.

They are all also offering first and second doses for those who still have not had their initial Covid vaccines - more than a quarter of eligible people in the Bradford district.

There are also other walk-in centres in the district, but they do not offer booster jabs. People can also book a booster at several GP surgeries and pharmacies in the district.

These are where the two Covid booster walk-in clinics are in Bradford:

  • The Broadway Shopping Centre - Pfizer and Moderna vaccines, first, second and booster vaccines; open 10am to 5pm.
  • Jacob's Well car park, Nelson Street - Pfizer and Moderna vaccines; first second and booster vaccines; open 9am to 7pm

Other clinics - where walk-in boosters are not available - are Rimmington's Pharmacy in the city centre,  Airedale Hospital, St Luke's Hospital.

So far in the Bradford district, 137,227 people aged 40 and over have had their booster vaccine so far, 55.8 per cent of Bradfordians in that age range.

People can either get a walk-in booster at these two clinics, or go to the NHS website and book their jab online.
