Plans to create an alternative health centre in a Dales hamlet have been rejected by a national park committee.
Applicants Mr S Chohan and Dr NS Chohan will have to undo the work they have already carried out at the former telephone exchange at Hazelwood, near Bolton Abbey.
Planning members of the Yorkshire Dales National Park Authority were told the eaves of the building had been raised, windows inserted and rooflights installed. Officers said the external alterations were extremely inappropriate.
