SIR - You reported earlier this year about individuals that had damaged saplings in Wibsey Park. I'm pleased to say that most of them have started sprouting new shoots.
However, when I walked around the park this morning I was disgusted to see that individuals had ridden quad bikes around the playing fields, leaving tyre marks where children play football and also dumped a shopping trolley in the lake.
When I was younger we would never have caused any damage or acted like that. Has the youth got any respect towards public property or belongings? I would really like to know.
