A man using a mobile telephone while driving told magistrates he was making an important call about a child.
Stuart Pearson, 31, of Tyne Street, Keighley, pleaded guilty at Bingley Magistrates' Court to using the telephone while driving in South Street, Keighley.
He was fined £75 and ordered to pay £40 court costs.
