Police in Bradford are appealing for witnesses after two masked men robbed a bookmakers.

The robbery happened at Ladbrokes on Great Horton Road at 8:45pm on Wednesday as staff were emptying money from machines into a box.

The robbers ordered staff to drop the box and one of the employees was pushed before the box was grabbed and the men ran off.

The first man was described as white, 5ft 8ins to 5ft 9ins tall and the second as also white and 5ft 10ins to 6ft tall. Both were of medium build and wore dark clothing.

Detective Inspector Noel Devine said: "We are not linking this to other robberies on bookmakers in the area. No weapons were used during this robbery."
