Work to repair a traffic grid-locked village road starts on Sunday.
A three-quarter mile stretch from Cottingley Moor Road in Cottingley up to Florida Road in Sandy Lane will be closed from 7am to 7pm on Sunday and will close from 9am to 7pm on Monday and Tuesday.
Diversions will be put in place for motorists, including buses.
Parents will be able to access Cottingley Village Primary School.
Temporary traffic lights will be put in place from Wednesday to Friday.
