FIREFIGHTERS rescued an elderly man who got his foot stuck in a bed at a nursing home in Yeadon
A crew from Rawdon Fire Station was called at 6am today to the RecoveryHub@NorthwestLeeds, on Silver Lane, Yeadon, to reports of man who had his foot stuck in a bed.
A spokesperson from Rawdon Fire Station said the man's foot had gone through a railing mechanism in the bed and he was in a lot of pain.
"We worked together with staff the nursing home and we repositioned him and lifted him out."
