A 20-YEAR-OLD man has been rushed to hospital after a reported stabbing in Bradford city centre.
Yorkshire Ambulance Service (YAS) was called at 9.12pm on Monday night to reports of a stabbing in the area of Morley Street.
A rapid response vehicle and ambulance were dispatched to the scene, while YAS rang West Yorkshire Police for assistance at 9.22pm.
There was a 20-year-old male at the scene, found with injuries to his back.
He was taken to hospital.
The man's injuries are not believed to be life-threatening at this time, according to a spokesperson for West Yorkshire Police.
Officers are continuing to investigate the reported stabbing and the spokesperson said a police cordon was in place on Fitzgerald Street and Sawrey Place.
The T&A visited the various streets at around 11.15am.
There was no cordon on Morley Street and no real sign anything had even happened there.
It was a similar situation for Sawrey Place, where there was also no cordon at that time.
The main focus of police activity seemed to be Fitzgerald Street.
There was police tape stretched across the road's junction with Little Horton Lane and at the other end, just before it crosses St George's Place.
There were two police cars - one guarding each side of the cordon.
A bystander said the police cordon had been in place all night, since around the time police were called to Morley Street.
At one point, what looked to be two detectives could be seen wandering the cobbled street, inbetween the buildings at either side of the road.
They held clipboards and looked to be examining different properties on the street.
Police then removed the cordon at around 11.45am.
Officers are appealing for information in relation to the incident.
Anyone with information should ring police on 101, or use the contact options on the West Yorkshire Police website.
