HOLME Valley Mountain Rescue Team was called out on Saturday to look out for two young males who were trekking from Edale along the Pennine Way and were trying to make their way off Black Hill on Saturday.
The team walked with the boys’ parents at Wessenden Head to see them safely off the hill,.
Also that day the MRT was called on to rescue a van load of wedding flowers after the van got stuck in snow.
The team transferred the flowers to another vehicle so they could continue on to the wedding location.
The team also spent much of the day helping free stranded drivers around Holmfirth.
Fresh snow on Sunday made roads difficult.
