A man arrested by armed police after he fired a toy handgun at a school minibus had his sentence postponed until Wednesday when he appeared in court today.
Gary Marshman, 24, of Westcombe Court, Wyke, was granted bail by Judge Robert Bartfield until he appears before the judge who heard his trial.
Marshman's behaviour with the toy gun led to an armed response unit being called out in July last year. Last month a jury found him guilty of possessing an imitation firearm with intent to cause fear of violence.
During the trial, it was said Marshman aimed the suspected weapon at motorists as he walked from his home to his mother's house in Buttershaw Drive, Bradford. At one point he fired a plastic pellet at the driver's window of a school minibus.
