A VACANT unit in Bradford city centre could be converted into a new restaurant if a planning application is approved.
A planning application to turn a unit at North Brook Street Works, off Canal Road, into a restaurant has been submitted to Bradford Council.
The application, by Tahir Mahmud, does not specify what type of restaurant it will be, but it will include a large outdoor seating area.
There will be parking for 62 cars, and the business would employ around 10 full-time and three part-time staff.
Alcohol licence bid for new city centre food shop
The building, just off Shipley Airedale Road and a short distance from Forster Square rail station, had been empty for much of the past decade, although it was recently occupied by Safe Glaze UK.
Most recently a Euro Max food shop and garage have opened in other units of the building.
