THE developer behind plans for a 27-acre mixed-use development in Hipperholme has released new computer-generated images of their proposals.

Crosslee Properties has been working with One Eight Studios so people can better visualise the proposed scheme on the site of the former Crosslee tumble dryer factory on Brighouse Road.

New images show the residential areas as well as the landscape strategy.

The £60m development includes 106 homes, a care home and retirement village, employment and commercial space and a supermarket.

It is expected to create 208 full time equivalent jobs as well as 140 full time equivalent construction roles during the build.

Outline plans for Crosslee Park were submitted in May and the scheme is expected to be heard by Calderdale Council's planning committee in the coming months.

So far there have been 32 public comments regarding the plans, with 26 objecting and six in support of the application.
