An electrical fault sparked a blaze that gutted a village chippy yesterday morning.
The interior of Eastburn Fish and Chips - a one-storey building in Main Road - was badly damaged in the blaze, which broke out at about 9.20am.
No one was hurt in the incident.
One fire appliance from Silsden and a vehicle from Keighley Fire Station responded to the blaze, after being alerted by the owner of the business.
Crews - some wearing breathing apparatus - used two hose reels to extinguish the fire.
Keighley crew manager Lee Scholes said the blaze started in the rear of the premises, due to a faulty electrical motor.
He said although fire crews arrived at the property within six minutes of being alerted, the inside of the building was already well alight.
