A man has been charged with murder after the discovery of a woman's body, police have revealed.
Thomas Nutt, aged 45, of Shirley Grove, Lightcliffe, near Brighouse, is due to appear in court in Bradford today.
Nutt has been charged with the murder of Dawn Walker, aged 52.
Murder squad detectives believe the death occurred between Wednesday, October 27 and Sunday, October 31.
Nutt has been remanded in custody to appear at Bradford and Keighley Magistrates' Court.
The Homicide and Major Enquiry Team is continuing its investigation into the death.
The body of Dawn, from Halifax, was found at around 4.38pm on Sunday near to Aysgarth Avenue, Lightcliffe.
In a tribute to Dawn, her family have said: “We write this with a very heavy heart that yesterday we lost a loving daughter, mother, Nanna, sister, Auntie and friend.
"In circumstances beyond our control, you were taken from us so suddenly. We ask at this time as a family, that you respect our privacy and allow us to grieve.”
