DETECTIVES are appealing for information after a man was robbed in Leeds city centre last night.

At 9.48pm yesterday, officers were called to Rockley Hall Yard, off The Headrow.

The victim, who is in his fifties, had been drinking in The Three Legs pub when he was approached by a woman offering a Leeds United top for sale.

He went with her to a nearby alleyway where a man appeared and punched him to the head, knocking him to the floor. His wallet containing cash was taken, before the suspects ran off down The Headrow towards Vicar Lane.

The woman was described as white, about 5ft 9ins tall, of medium build, with darkish hair and a Yorkshire accent. The man was described as white, tall, slim and with short, dark hair.
