Briony has had a long, long year waiting for a new owner, and even Christmas has passed her by without anyone giving her a home.
The pretty, spayed, black cat is nearing her first anniversary at Mount Street RSPCA Shelter in Bradford, after being found in the Bingley area.
Staff even put a special notice on her pen hoping she would be chosen in the run-up to Christmas, but despite a successful re-homing period for cats over the festive period, Briony is still in residence.
Shelter manager Mandy Miller said Briony is about five-years-old.
She said: "She has been with us almost a year now and it would be great if she could be found a loving home."
Briony can be moody so a home with young children is not recommended.
