Nando’s has confirmed that the much-missed Fino Pitta will return to its menu along with some festive favourites ahead of the Christmas countdown.
The Fino Pitta, which consists of a toasted pitta filled with two flame-grilled chicken thighs, grilled halloumi cheese, caramelised red onion relish and wild garlic aioli, will be available from November 2 after 18 months off the menu.
Since it was taken off the menu in March 2020, Nando’s has received over 3,200 social posts from fans calling for it to return.
Nando's confirmed the return of the fan-favourite today alongside some new items to get you in the Christmas spirit.
The festive menu will also be available from next week, with PERi-PERi Gravy and Spiced Clementine PERi-PERi baste available for all Nando’s lovers.
For plant-based eaters, there will be a new-and-improved warm Rainbow Rice Bowl, featuring warmed spiced grains and long-stem broccoli with houmous, rainbow slaw, pickled golden carrot and a sprinkle of seeds.
If you fancy a Christmas tipple, there will also be a sweet & sour SXOLLIE Cider offering a hint of toffee apple, perfect for the festive season.
The restaurant chain has also revealed it is now carbon negative, after announcing plans to be 100 percent carbon neutral by 2030.
The menu is available in all UK restaurants from November 2 as well as on click & collect and for delivery.
