Otley Action for Older People (OAOP) has announced new fees for the use of its community bus.
The charity took over running the vehicle, formerly owned by Otley Community Transport, in 2006 so it could continue to be available for community hire. Any local non-profit making groups affiliated to OAOP can hire the bus, with or without a professionally trained driver - although anyone wishing to drive the bus for their group must be assessed.
The new charges are: £15 hire charge, plus £1 per mile, plus £3 per hour (minimum charge £30).
