The impact of long-term alcohol abuse in the district will be discussed by Bradford Council.
In September, the Council's Health Improvement Comm-ittee launched an inquiry into the misuse of alcohol and the capacity of public services to cope with the problem.
Tomorrow, councillors will hear about the effects of heavy drinking among young people. A group set up to undertake the inquiry will hear evidence from Bradford and Airedale Teaching Primary Care Trust, the Council's Children's Services and Christian charity Streets Ahead.
Councillors will also hear about the impact alcohol misuse has on the dental services.
Councillor Elaine Byrom, the chairman of the Health Improvement Committee, said: "This is the fourth meeting of the sub-group, and they have already heard evidence from a GP, Bradford Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and the Regional Public Health Group of the Government Office for Yorkshire and Humber.
"The scale of the problem and the capacity of public services, including the primary care trusts and Bradford Council is becoming clearer.
"This is a problem that will not go away and the inquiry will investigate what is being done to improve services and reduce the number of people dependent on alcohol."
The meeting takes place at City Hall from 1pm.
