DOZENS of tributes have been paid to Bradford man Jaydon Howard following his death in a motorbike crash on Saturday.
Mr Howard, 19, from Ravenscliffe, was a passenger on a motorbike on Saturday when it was in collision with a taxi in Wrose Road, Wrose, close to the junction with Wrose Mount, at around 10.20pm.
Police, fire and ambulance services were called but sadly Mr Howard, known to friends by the nickname Gigsy, died at the scene.
Two teenagers, aged 15 and 17, were arrested in relation to the incident and have been bailed pending further enquiries.
Large numbers of flowers and messages have been left at the scene in tribute to Mr Howard
The Telegraph & Argus set up a book of condolence on Monday, with friends and members of the public invited to leave their tributes to Mr Howard.
Here are some of the messages left for Jaydon Howard.
Casey Manning said: “You were the most loving, caring boy I ever met who appreciated every single thing in life from the smallest to biggest things.”
Another well-wisher said: “You were the highlight of everyone’s day with never a dull moment, I’m gutted to have lost a friend like you.”
Irene O’Reilly-Craven added: “Thinking of all your family at this sad time.
“My heart goes out to you all, such a sad loss of a young life; my daughter and grandchildren knew you well young man.”
Amelia Jade said: “I’m lost for words because you never think we would all be saying our last goodbyes, especially Gigs.
“We all have different memories, stories to speak about him, but one thing we all share is how much we loved the character he was.
“The world is so cruel and life’s too short, just wish it was longer for you Gigsy.”
Lisa Williams added: “Jaydon I only knew you for two years through my daughter E, but I can honestly say I have never known a funnier person than you.
“E is going to miss you so much ringing her up and I’ll miss hearing you two argue and make up two mins later. We are all devastated down here.”
