Two men are in hospital with serious injuries after a pedestrian and a motorcycle collided on Bradford Road, Shipley.
The accident happened as one man was crossing the major road at about 7am today and was in a collision with the motorbike, which was travelling towards Bradford.
The motorcyclist was also taken to Bradford Royal Infirmary, police at the scene said.
Motorists faced huge tailbacks as police cordoned off Bradford Road, near its junction with Kirkgate.
PC John Lawson, of Keighley Road Traffic Police, said: "There has been a collision between a pedestrian and a motorcyclist and both males were taken to Bradford Royal Infirmary with serious injuries.
"We do not know whether their injuries are life-threatening at this stage."
