ENQUIRIES are ongoing today after a teenager was stabbed in an altercation in a Bradford park.
Emergency services were called to Horton Park, Horton Park Avenue, at around 5.50pm on Monday.
It came after reports that a group of around six males were seen running with weapons.
A 14-year-old boy was rushed to hospital after suffering a stab wound to his lower back, but police said his injuries are not considered life threatening.
"The remaining individuals made off on foot out of the park towards Southfield Lane, Powell Avenue and Horton Park Avenue," said a police spokesperson.
"Officers are appealing for witnesses to come forward who may have seen the altercation or the individuals prior to the incident or immediately after.
"Anyone with information is asked to contact Bradford CID on 101, quoting crime reference number 13210492788.
"Alternatively, you can report the incident anonymously by contacting the charity Crimestoppers, by calling 0800 555 111."
