A man with a string of driving bans was caught driving again when police became suspicious about his car.
When stopped at Saltaire roundabout, Omair Afzal, 25, gave officers the false name of Amir Ali, Bingley magistrates were told.
Prosecutor, Claire Larton said he had no documents to prove his identity and when police checked they realised he had given the wrong identity and that he was disqualified from driving.
He had offences for driving while disqualified in 2004 and 2006.
Afzal of Whitby Road, Bradford, admitted driving while banned, obstructing police and driving without insurance.
The court heard he had health problems and had suffered a brain haemorrhage. Magistrates adjourned sentence for a pre-sentence report.
