BRADFORD is the cheapest city in the UK for on-street parking, a new study has revealed.
Global car comparison site EnjoyTravel.com have analysed car parks and on-street parking rates across the UK.
And Bradford has come out on top, as well as being in the top three for the cheapest car park per hour and 24 hours.
Some cities have free on-street parking on weekends and public holidays. So, for comparison purposes, the site looked at hourly and overnight midweek parking rates in locations within 30 minutes walking time of the centre.
Bradford (70p) beat Newcastle Upon Tyne (80p) and Preston (90p) for the cheapest city for on-street parking (per hour).
Captain Street is flying the flag for the city in terms of being one of the cheapest car parks in the UK per hour and for 24 hours.
It ranks joint-second for both the former (50p) and the latter (£2).
Chester's Christleton Road tops each category with it being free to park for an hour and only £1.80 for the day.
