POLICE are investigating a suspected arson attack at a pub
Officers were called to the scene at the New Inn in Drighlington, at around 1am today.
Footage on social media shows the fire-hit vehicle in the pub's car park today.
The building itself is also damaged, with a smoke-blackened doorway and smashed windows.
A West Yorkshire Police spokesman said: "At 12.56am this morning, police were contacted by the fire service who were attending the New Inn pub, in Wakefield Road, Drighlington, where a car had been set on fire in the car park.
"A number of windows at the pub were also smashed and petrol poured through during the incident, which is being treated as arson.
"Enquiries are ongoing and anyone with information is asked contact Leeds District CID via 101 quoting crime reference 13210488001 or online via www.westyorkshire.police.uk/101livechat
"Information can be given anonymously to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111."
No-one was injured in the incident.
Crime scene investigators were at the pub earlier today, which was taped off by police until this afternoon.
