PLANS to convert an empty shop unit on Great Horton Road into a restaurant have been submitted to Bradford Council.
The application says the restaurant will be a "healthy alternative" to the numerous take aways in the area.
The proposal is for 266 Great Horton Road, and has been submitted by Kamraez Khan.
Documents included with the application show highlight some of Bradford's attractions, with images of City Hall, the Wool Exchange and popular local bassline collective Bad Boy Chiller Crew.
The documents say: "At present there is a requirement from the local residents of the need of a healthy alternative to the usual take aways within the local area.

If approved the business would open from 11am to 11pm.
A decision on the application is expected in November.
