A POLICE officer has been dismissed after repeatedly punching a man and telling him 'I don't give a s***' when he said he was disabled.
PC Koysar Ahmed, of West Yorkshire Police, was called to an address in Bradford last year to a report of a domestic incident.
Following his arrival, he detained a male who was sat in a car in his garage.
A police misconduct hearing was told he had used "excessive force" by punching him around the head/arm area and using CS spray.
Details of the case have been published on West Yorkshire Police's website.
It states: "On 14th February 2020, whilst on duty, PC Ahmed attended at an address in Bradford due to a report of a domestic incident. Following his arrival, he detained a male who was sat in a car in his garage.
"1, Whilst initially detaining the male it is alleged that the officer used excessive force by punching him around the head/arm area.
"2, When the male protested and informed the officer he was disabled, it is alleged the officer stated, “I don’t give a s***”.
"3, Despite knowing that the male was disabled, it is alleged that the officer continued to use excessive force by:
a. The use of further repeated punches around the head/arm area, and/or
b. The use of CS spray.
"At the conclusion of the hearing charges 2 and 3 were found proved and the officer was dismissed from the Force."
