TWO female yobs reportedly shouted "kick it drop it, kick the spikey f**k" as they allegedly attacked a hedgehog.
West Yorkshire Police's Wildlife & Rural Crime Team posted an appeal on its Facebook page this morning, after the death of a hedgehog last Friday (September 10).
Two females were reportedly seen at about 11pm on a ginnel off Westfield Street, in Heckmondwike, kicking at a hedgehog.
It is alleged they shouted "kick it drop it, kick the spikey f**ck", as the suspected attack was underway.
A vet tried to save the animal, but unfortunately the hedgehog died.
Police would like to speak to anyone with any information, or who saw the incident.
