EMERGENCY services were scrambled to the scene of an incident outside a library in Bradford city centre.
A spokesperson for the West Yorkshire Police said they were called at 2.53pm today to a report of a "concern for safety" which was "medically-related" near the Bradford Mechanics Institute Library, on Kirkgate, Bradford.
A spokesperson from the Yorkshire Ambulance Service said: "We received a call to reports of a person who collapsed.
"We dispatched two ambulances and a clinical supervisor.
"One patient was conveyed to hospital."
Roads nearby were closed and the incident was cordoned off while the emergency services dealt with the incident.
