A NEW youth hub, developed to help support young people to find work, has been officially launched in Bradford this week.
The Bradford Vibe Youth Hub, based at Forster College in the city centre, is a collaboration between a number of organisations, including Bradford College and the Department for Work and Pensions.
It offers young people employment support, training opportunities and money advice, among other things.
The aim is to help support young people returning to work or looking to find work for the first time.
Other organisations involved include Volunteering Matters, the Opportunity Centre, Specialist Autism Service, Barnardo's (Stronger Families), EDT, Volunteering Matters, The Prince's Trust, Prospects-Connexions, Skills House, DEA, Bradford Nightstop and Incommunities.
Fran Innes of the Department for Work and Pensions in Bradford said the event was well attended with sessions taking place to help people apply for jobs and sign up to services.
"Bradford Vibe is a fantastic opportunity to come together to support our young communities across Bradford District."
She also urged any employers or organisations that would like to get involved to email DWPBradfordPartnership.Enquiries@dwp.gov.uk
