POLICE closed a busy dual carriageway after a female fell from a bridge.
West Yorkshire Police was called to Stanningley Bypass, near Pudsey, earlier this afternoon.
A spokesperson for the force said a female had fallen from a bridge.
They added that, her injuries are believed to be non-life threatening.
Officers closed part of Stanningley Bypass, before reopening the road just after 7pm.
A full statement from police, made at 5.24pm, said: "The Stanningley bypass, Pudsey is currently closed after a female fell from a bridge earlier this afternoon.
"She suffered what are believed to be non-life threatening injuries."
