OPERATION Steerside came across two abandoned vehicles on their duty in Bradford South yesterday.
In the evening, the driver of a grey Seat ran off after leaving his car.
The insurance policy suggested he wasn’t insured to drive it so the vehicle was seized.
The state of the tyres meant it was a good one to get off the roads. The owner will have to get the tyres changed before being able to drive it away.
A BMW was also abandoned in the area on the same day.
According to local residents, it had become a target of anti-social behaviour and has recently been damaged.
There was no insurance, no tax, no MOT and an untraceable keeper.
The vehicle was recovered to prevent further damage and tidy up the area.
