A BRADFORD daredevil has taken to the skies on a wing walk for a children’s charity.
Sam Pullan, 20, of Baildon did the challenge for Cash for Kids, which supports children and young people affected by poverty, abuse, neglect and illness. He has raised £889 so far.
Sam, who works for Santander in Shipley, was strapped to the wing of a Boeing Stearman, built in 1942 and used for pilot training in the Second World War, for his daring flight. Organised by the Wing Walk Company, it took place in Lincolnshire on Sunday.
“It was amazing, I loved every minute,” said Sam. “I could see for miles. The plane tipped to the side and dipped down, and reached 110mph. It was a fantastic experience. I wanted to do it again straight away!”
