CROWDS went "crazy" at yesterday's Bradford Dance Festival at Provident Stadium and the event "far outweighed the expectations" of organisers.
"It all went really well," said organiser Jon Oldroyd, of Events People Ltd. "Charlie Hedges got it jumping, the crowd went crazy for Bad Boy Chiller Crew and Nathan Dawe to finish made it out of this world!
"It far outweighed our expectations, so on the whole we're really happy with the response."
A total of 3,500 people were in attendance and the licence only allowed 5,000 people at the venue on the day.
Jon said the standing area in front of the stage was covered by protective membrane over the pitch.
He said: "This area and the veranda in front of the Southbank Suite which looked out on to the field were both very popular with everyone.
"There were no major incidents which we were really pleased about.
"The show itself was very good and the feedback we've had has been amazing.
"It gives a really solid platform for 2022," said Jon. "We're looking to grow it a bit on the site and to book big talent again.
"We're being innovative and moving forward with plans in place to collaborate with a dance music booking similar to the Ministry of Sound."
