A PROACTIVE approach by police in Bradford South has seen them deal with a number of traffic offences as well as issues regarding Tesco in Great Horton.
A spokesperson for the West Yorkshire Police's Bradford South Neighbourhood Police Team said: "Officers from Bradford South NPT have taken a proactive approach to road related offences on Friday and have worked around the issues we are aware of in Tesco Great Horton.
"Throughout this tour of duty the below action was taken: Four stop searches, three report for summons, four traffic offence reports (TORs), two vehicle seizures and three s.59 warnings.
They added: "No calls for service regarding Tesco, a small number of vehicles were advised and moved on from the area. One female driver, however, was summonsed for driving otherwise than in accordance with her licence, no insurance and no brake lights displayed, along with a s.59 warning.
"Be aware officers are in the area and positive action will be taken where required."
